Many people want to know how long to workout.
I struggle often trying to explain to people just exactly what a workout is and how long it should take.
I have a couple, actually three different types of workouts the way I look at it and these are the ones:
1. Cardio workout– This is a workout of running or biking hard that has a couple of different outcomes. Doing long cardio that really pushes you will improve your endurance and get a good sweat going. Also nothing like a long run to clear you head and make you feel invincible.
2. Long walks on the beach– Well I guess the walk does not have to be on the beach, although I wish I lived close to a beach to do this. I love walking the dogs for quite a while, If you have a decent pace going you get your heart rate up a bit for a longer period of time which is great for lots of health benefits and also this is a great way to improve muscle tone as you stop being so tense and are much more relaxed.
3. Weight workouts– these are the bread and butter of muscle gain and building a great body and there are great advantages of using weight workouts to improve coordination and core
If you are doing cardio 20 to 30 minutes will seem like a long time when you get started but after a month or so of cardio you can easily do cardio for an hour.
Instead of doing an hour of cardio you would do much better to pick up the intensity and only do 30 minutes of cardio per session.
If this one 45 minute workout is not enough of course some people still workout twice in a day, one or cardio in the morning and another cardio orweights in the evening.

Nelson Mandela once said: “A critical, independent, and investigative press is the lifeblood of any democracy. The press must be free from state interference. It must have the economic strength to stand up to the blandishments of government officials. It must have sufficient independence from vested interests to be bold and inquiring without fear or favor. It must enjoy the protection of the constitution, so that it can protect our rights as citizens.”
